Graduate management education experts will spearhead leading admissions solution provider’s BusinessCAS initiative
WATERTOWN, Mass. (April 17, 2018) – Liaison International today announced the leadership lineup for its BusinessCAS™ advisory board. Toby McChesney, senior assistant dean for graduate business programs in Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business, will head the board as chair. Dee Steinle, executive director of MBA and MSB programs at the University of Kansas School of Business, will serve as vice chair.
“I’m excited for this opportunity to influence the future of graduate management education,” McChesney shared. “Working closely with my fellow board members, we’ll ensure schools have the tools they need to recruit, admit and enroll students who can meet the fast-changing needs of today’s business world.”
“I’m thrilled that the University of Kansas School of Business is an early adopter of BusinessCAS and that I have the opportunity to shape solutions necessary to improve and grow our industry. Even after only a few board meetings, we’re already making great progress,” Steinle added.
George Haddad, founder and CEO of Liaison, said, “Toby and Dee have extensive credentials that make them the ideal leaders for these roles. Our last twenty years in graduate admissions have shown us the importance of close collaboration with admissions professionals. Toby and Dee will ensure that BusinessCAS provides the support that those in their field need.”
Liaison announced its plans for BusinessCAS in October 2016. The Centralized Application Service (CAS™) for graduate management education was officially launched at the 2017 GMAC Annual Conference. The CAS features a user-friendly, streamlined application process and a single portal to discover all participating programs. The solution and its supplementary services will expand access to programs, generating larger applicant pools while eliminating the burdens of manual processing tasks for admissions officers and staff.
