Leading provider of admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions will utilize its resources and relationships to guide graduate education through challenging times.
WATERTOWN, Mass. (May 12, 2020) – Liaison International, the leader in admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions for higher education, has been selected to NAGAP’s inaugural Strategic Partnership Council (SPC). NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, cited Liaison’s commitment to collaboration, research and leadership in the graduate admissions field when making its decision. As higher education quickly moves to evolve practices and strategies in the wake of this year’s coronavirus outbreak, Liaison adds its voice to those who will chart the future of graduate education.
In order to be considered for the SPC, an organization must first be nominated by one of the NAGAP board members or one of the Chapter organizations. Liaison was recommended by Kristin Smith (Penn State College of Medicine), president of BioGAP. Members of the NAGAP Chapter that represents biomedical programs rely on Liaison’s Centralized Application Service (CASTM) to market its biomedical sciences programs to prospective students and streamline its enrollment processes. Also key to the selection was Liaison’s research into issues around strategic enrollment management, demonstrated by its annual Inquiry Response Project Report, which explores how institutions communicate with potential students.
“We are honored and excited to add our voice to this important work,” said Liaison’s Founder and CEO, George Haddad. “This is an unprecedented time of change for higher education, and we stand ready to help graduate schools as they navigate these uncharted waters.”
“We have long appreciated Liaison’s support and partnership,” said Keith Ramsdell, M.Ed., director of graduate enrollment and assistant dean of the Graduate College at Bowling Green State University and immediate past president of NAGAP. “We look forward to continuing to serve the Graduate Enrollment Management community together.”
Liaison and NAGAP have worked together in the past to support individuals and institutions seeking to strengthen graduate enrollment. Prior to being selected to the SPC, Liaison sponsored NAGAP’s inaugural Leadership Academy in 2019 and has plans to do so for the 2021 training program as well. The Leadership Academy was developed for professionals working in all aspects of GEM including those in recruitment, admissions, financial aid, student services, advising, alumni affairs and general administration.
“We nominated Liaison for the Strategic Partnership Council because of the forward-looking vision we’ve come to experience firsthand through their BioMedCAS™ platform and their support for the BioGAP organization,” said Kristin Smith. “With their finger on the pulse of both students and institutions, Liaison will make an immediate positive impact on the council as well as for our graduate education community.”
