Until now, very little comprehensive data has been available about postbaccalaureate programs or about prospective applicants who apply to such programs. Participation in the PostbacCAS community allows us to create a one-of-its-kind report that will ultimately be foundational to a longitudinal analysis of changing trends in both such academic offerings as well as profiles of students who pursue post-baccalaureate degrees. Below you will find statistics from the newly released 2021-2022 cycle report, which will provide extensive data that you can use for benchmarking and strategic planning.
Key Report Highlights
17% increase in institution participation during the 21-22 cycle
27% reported as first-generation college students
1 in 4 applications were completed using a mobile phone
63% of matriculant applicants were female
States with the highest PostbacCAS participation: CA, PA, VA, FL and NY
PostbacCAS will continue to provide such data annually to help participating schools navigate such changes as they benchmark for what lies ahead. It can be a vital source of data informing how post-baccalaureate programs structure, enhance and improve their academic offerings. Participating schools that use PostbacCAS exclusively can choose to utilize Analytics by Liaison to review how their institution performs in comparison.
