We are proud to help make #HigherEd and #EdTech an inclusive place for all. As we celebrate Pride this year, Liaison will continue to empower members of the LGBTQ+ community year-round. We hope this page serves as a resource center for allies and members of the community alike to find opportunities for support, celebration, and advocacy. This year, we celebrate the formation of our first-ever LGBTQ+ affinity group, Liaison Engaged Around Pride (LEAP). LEAP’s mission to create an environment where every Liaison team member feels seen, heard, and supported. LEAP promotes inclusion, community, and respect for all, and we are thrilled to drive internal celebrations of Pride month in 2024.

LEARN, SUPPORT, AND ADVOCATE
There’s a world of resources out there to help you get started on your LGBTQ+ advocacy journey. Browse these links and see where you’d like to start, or listen and learn more about the gay community’s history with a podcast or documentary.
Participate in community gatherings and educational events: Local LGBTQIA+ organizations, community centers, and support groups often celebrate Pride by organizing picnics, concerts, art exhibitions, film screenings, and workshops that promote education, inclusivity, and connection and provide safe spaces for discussion and camaraderie.
